12:24 PM EDT, 07/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amsterdam-listed shares of ASML (ASML.AS) and BE Semiconductor Industries (BESI.AS) dropped 8% and 9%, respectively, on Monday's close following a report of a Chinese company mass-producing a key type of equipment used by chipmakers. The Information reported earlier in the day, citing two people familiar with the situation, that the unnamed Shanghai-based company started making immersion deep ultraviolet lithography machines.
