On July 28, Defense Minister Dong Jun was invited to hold talks with Minister of Defense of the Ministry of National Defense Harbi during his visit to Brunei. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on military relations between the two countries, the international and regional situation, and issues of common concern. They stated that they would implement the important consensus of the heads of state of the two countries, further deepen strategic coordination and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two armies, and jointly maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea region.
