Cicor Technologies to Buy Manufacturing Site in Malaysia from Energy Solutions Provider EDMI

03:32 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cicor Technologies (CICN.SW) said Tuesday it agreed to buy the manufacturing assets and inventory of the Malaysian subsidiary of Singapore-based intelligent energy solutions provider EDMI. The Swiss electronic components company agreed to pay $15 million to $20 million to purchase EDMI Electronics, which holds a manufacturing site in the Malaysian state of Johor. Completion of the transaction is expected in the fourth quarter. Upon completion of the transaction, the companies will enter into a long-term strategic manufacturing partnership, from which Cicor expects to generate more than $50 million in annual revenue. Cicor will serve as EDMI's main outsourced manufacturing partner under the deal.
