Medicare (02159) is expected to have a net profit of no less than 17 million yuan in the medium term, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Medi Weikang (02159) issued an announcement. The board of directors expects the Group's interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026 to record significant growth and net profit of not less than RMB 17 million, while recording a loss of approximately RMB 4.1 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025.

The transition from loss to profit during the period was mainly due to the following factors: (1) the Group's revenue increased by more than 80% compared to the same period last year, of which AI-related revenue already accounted for more than 80%; and (2) the Group's gross margin rose to more than 30%.
