GSK to Open New R&D Center in UK

07:40 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GSK (GSK.L) said Tuesday it plans to open a new global research and development center in Cambridge, UK. With the planned move to the 300,000 square-foot center at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the drugmaker will vacate its Stevenage, Hertfordshire, site, with a phased move for employees by 2029. The company intends to invest 400 million pounds sterling in three years to upgrade its research and development facilities, including its existing R&D laboratories at Ware in Hertfordshire.
