10:20 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wihlborgs Fastigheter's (WIHL.ST) proposed acquisition of Castellum's (CAST.ST) property portfolio in Sweden for 13.3 billion kronor is now set for completion as the country's competition authority cleared the deal "without intervention." Real estate company Wihlborgs' proposed purchase of peer Castellum's portfolio in Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg is expected to close on Oct. 1, according to a Tuesday release. In a separate same-day release, Castellum said its 5 billion-krona sale of office properties in Stockholm to Alecta also received approval from the Swedish Competition Authority. The buyer is set to take possession of the properties on Sept. 1.
