According to a report by the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television on the 28th, a spokesman for the central headquarters of Iran's armed forces in Khatam Ambia said that any country or company that accepts US use of Iranian assets for so-called compensation will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The spokesperson said that US President Trump announced earlier that Iran's frozen assets will be used to pay compensation to ships damaged during the Ibero-US conflict. The Iraqi side believes that the damage to these ships was caused by the US military creating an unsafe situation in the region and “illegally entering an illegal and unsafe waterway in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz.” He warned that from now on, ships belonging to any country or company supporting Trump's proposals and using Iran's frozen assets will be banned from passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
