As of press release, Amgen (AMGN.US) rose more than 4.6%, ABBV.US (ABBV.US) rose more than 3%, MSD (MRK.US) rose more than 2%, Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.US) rose more than 2.4%, and intraday stock prices all hit record highs; GlaxoSmithK.US (GSK.US) surged more than 7% after the results, PFE.US (PFE.US) rose more than 3%, and Lilly (LY.US) Up more than 2%. GlaxoSmithKline's total sales for the second quarter were £8.4 billion, of which specialty drug sales were £3.8 billion, up 14% year on year; vaccine sales were £2.3 billion, up 8% year on year; and generic drug sales were £2.3 billion, down 9% year on year. Core operating profit for the second quarter was £2.8 billion, and core earnings per share were 50.5p. GlaxoSmithKline expects sales to increase by 3%-5%, core operating profit by 7%-9%, and core earnings per share by 7%-9% for the full year of 2026.
