Chemanol Reports Bigger Loss in Q1; Revenue Down

01:48 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Methanol Chemicals Co. (SASE:2001), d/b/a Chemanol, said Wednesday that its loss for the first quarter widened, while revenue decreased year over year. Loss attributable to shareholders of the issuer for the three months ended March 31 was 46.4 million Saudi riyals, compared with a loss of 44.7 million riyals a year earlier. Loss per share moved to 0.69 riyal from a loss per share of 0.66 riyal. The Saudi Arabia-listed methanol and derivatives producer's revenue was 124.7 million riyals, compared with 165.6 million riyals a year ago.
