Chen Feihong, first-level inspector of the Shenzhen Financial Supervisory Authority, revealed at the bureau's press conference in the first half of 2026 that agencies under its jurisdiction continued to increase their support for foreign trade enterprises and new forms of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce and industrial e-commerce. At the end of June, the foreign trade loan balance of Chinese banks in the city was 1.37 trillion yuan, up 22.17% year on year; in the first half of the year, 27,000 foreign trade enterprises were provided with export credit risk protection of US$57.124 billion, an increase of 7.57% over the previous year. Taking China as an example, according to Cai Lin, a senior expert at ICBC's Shenzhen branch, the branch's loan balance for foreign trade enterprises at the end of June exceeded 150 billion yuan, an increase of 39.21% over the beginning of the year.
