On July 29, the cross-Zhangjiagang River cable-stayed bridge, one of the control projects for the entire Su-Jia-Ningbo high-speed railway line, was accurately helong. This was the first cable-stayed bridge on the entire line to achieve Helong, laying a solid foundation for subsequent bridge deck construction and the completion of the entire line on schedule. The cable-stayed bridge across the Zhangjiagang River is located at the junction of Zhangjiagang and Changshu cities. The bridge spans the two major navigable water systems of the Zhangjiagang River and the Zoumatang River. The total length of the bridge is 417.7 meters. The bridge uses a single-tower, double-cable-surface prestressed concrete low tower cable-stayed bridge scheme, and the entire bridge is equipped with 11 pairs of fan-shaped cable-stayed cables.
