Hanyu Pharmaceutical announced that the new-generation GLP-1/GIP/GCGR triple agonist HY3003 injection developed by the company in collaboration with Shenzhen Tanyunzhi Peptide has completed pre-clinical animal pharmacodynamics studies. In a DIO mouse model induced by a high-fat diet, the study compared it with the marketed drug tirpotide and the drug retatreotide under development. The results showed that at the same molar dose, HY3003 injection had better weight loss effects in DIO mice, and had good weight loss, fat loss, and sugar reduction effects. However, this result still requires clinical trials to verify its safety and efficacy in humans, and there is uncertainty about the progress of subsequent projects.
