Peking University Resources (00618): Termination of the establishment of a joint venture

Zhitong Finance App News, Peking University Resources (00618) issued an announcement regarding the joint venture agreement between the Company, Shanghai Cunan and Mr. Feng. According to the joint venture agreement, the Company, Shanghai Cunan and Mr. Feng (the contracting party) will jointly establish a joint venture in Hong Kong, which is mainly engaged in providing international trade and supply chain services for non-ferrous metal products.

After re-evaluating the Group's business development strategy and considering the uncertainties and market risks involved, the Company decided not to promote a joint venture. The contracting parties jointly agreed to terminate the joint venture agreement and concluded the termination agreement on July 29, 2026. After termination, the joint venture agreement ceases to have any effect, and the contracting parties are not liable to each other for the joint venture agreement.

As of the date of this announcement, the contracting parties have not paid their respective subscription contributions for the joint venture, and the joint venture has not carried out any business operations. The Company will transfer all of its shares in the joint venture to Shanghai Cun'an at zero cost and completely withdraw from the joint venture.
