On July 29, local time, the Serbian National Assembly voted on a no-confidence motion initiated by opposition lawmakers against current Prime Minister Machut's government. After three days of parliamentary debate, 176 members of the Serbian Parliament participated in the vote. Of these, 40 voted for the proposal, 135 voted against, and 1 abstained. Machut became Prime Minister of Serbia on April 16, 2025.
