The Zhitong Finance App learned that Budweiser Asia Pacific (01876) rose more than 4% after the results. As of press release, it had risen 4.18% to HK$7.22, with a turnover of HK$11.666 million.

According to the news, on July 30, Budweiser Asia Pacific announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue of US$3.171 billion, up 1.1% year on year; profit attributable to Budweiser Asia Pacific equity holders was US$473 million, up 15.6% year on year; and basic profit per share was 3.57 cents. According to the announcement, total sales volume decreased by 2.2% in the first half of 2026, which was affected by the weakness of the Chinese market, but was partially offset by the performance of South Korea and India.

In the second quarter of 2026, the company's overall performance was affected by ongoing challenges in the Chinese business. The company lagged behind weak industry performance due to unfavorable weather and continued poor ready-to-drink channels, further hampering the company's revenue and profits. Meanwhile, the continued growing business momentum in South Korea and India partially offset these negative effects, and the company increased its market share in Korea; in India, improved industry growth momentum, increased market share, and strong growth in the company's high-end and higher product portfolio led to double-digit sales growth.
