The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 29, Yili International (00585) issued an announcement announcing that Wang Haomian, a complex talent of technology and investment, was appointed as Executive Director and Group Vice President. The appointment officially took effect on August 10.

Wang Haomian, 41, is a typical young genius. He received the first prize of the Guangdong University of Science and Technology as an undergraduate student, and obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science and technology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007. After receiving a full scholarship, he obtained a master's degree in philosophy in computer science and engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and has published many academic papers in top international journals.

Wang Haomian's history spans R&D, entrepreneurship, and primary market investments. In his early years, he worked as a senior software engineer at Oracle; since then, he continued to start a business, building well-known open source platforms for mobile development, leading smart hardware companies (funded by Shunwei and Shenzhen Venture Capital), developing social apps with millions of downloads, and accumulating rich practical experience in product research and development, market operation, and corporate financing. Since 2018, he has been a partner of Shenzhen CNOOC Capital, leading semiconductor, AI, and hard technology circuit investments. A number of investee companies have listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, GEM, and Hong Kong stocks. In 2023, the angel round invested in a mainland Chinese company, and received more than 100 times the return on investment.

Wang Haomian signed a three-year service contract with Yili International.
