Chifeng Gold announced that its holding subsidiary Vientiane Mining completed the second phase of the SND gold and copper project in late June 2026. The updated report of July 30 shows that compared with the first estimate in 2025, the amount of gold equivalent metal increased from 107 tons to 260 tons, an increase of about 143 percent. The total amount of resources is about 360 million tons, 170 tons of gold, and 810,000 tons of copper. SND mineralization is unsealed to the southwest and deep, and there is potential for increase and upgrade. The project is still in the investigation phase.
