Today, the “certified operator” mutual recognition arrangement between China and Uzbekistan customs will be officially implemented, and the level of trade facilitation between the two countries will be further improved. After the implementation of the AEO mutual recognition arrangement, China Customs and Uzbek Customs provided a number of convenient measures to mutually recognized AEO enterprises during customs clearance of imported goods: applying a lower inspection rate for imported goods; giving priority inspection to goods requiring physical inspection; appointing customs agents to communicate and handle problems encountered by project members during customs clearance; and priority customs clearance after the interruption or resumption of international trade.
