According to Goldwind Technology, recently, the first phase of the Ummbila Emoyeni project developed by Seriti Green in South Africa was officially put into commercial operation. The project has an installed capacity of 155 MW and an annual power generation capacity of 480 million kilowatts. It is expected to meet the electricity needs of about 500,000 households and reduce carbon emissions by about 400,000 tons per year. Equipped with 25 Goldwind Technology GWH182-6.2MW intelligent wind turbines with an impeller diameter of 183.5 meters, it is the largest wind power project in operation in South Africa so far.
