The Zhitong Finance App learned that Weilizhibo-B (09887) rose nearly 6% in early trading. As of press release, it had risen 5.71% to HK$56.45, with a turnover of HK$75.476 million.

According to the news, on August 3, Weilizhibo announced that the Drug Evaluation Center (CDE) of the China National Drug Administration has approved its self-developed drug candidate Vilisin (PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody opatisumimab, LBL-024) for clinical trial of a new drug for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).

According to reports, the approved clinical trial is an open-label, multicenter phase IB/II study aimed at evaluating the safety and efficacy of Velissin in combination with the treatment of mCRC. This milestone marks an important step in the expansion of Willism's indications in the field of gastrointestinal tumors. The company's immunotherapy landscape further extends from biliary tract cancer (BTC), gastric cancer (GC), and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) to colorectal cancer (CRC), a type of cancer whose clinical needs are highly unmet.
