Holcim to Sell Philippines Business for $807 Million Valuation

11:28 PM EDT, 08/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Building materials company Holcim (HOLN.SW) agreed to sell its business in the Philippines for an overall valuation of $807 million. Holcim will initially sell a 67.623% stake to Huaxin Building Materials for $527 million, with the remaining stake to be sold in the next three to five years at a minimum floor price of $280 million, according to a Sunday release. Incremental value creation during the period until the sale of the remaining stake may result in a higher valuation. The initial majority stake sale is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027, subject to customary and regulatory approvals.
