CGN Power (01816): Cheng Wei and Peng Yi appointed as independent non-executive directors

On the date of this announcement, Mr. Cheng Wei (Mr. Cheng) and Mr. Peng Yi (Mr. Peng) were appointed as independent non-executive directors. The terms of office of Mr. Cheng and Mr. Peng began on the date of review and approval at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting until the end of the fourth board of directors.

The following changes in the membership of the Board of Directors Special Committee took effect from the date of the Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting until the end of the fourth board of directors: (i) Mr. Cheng served as the chairman of the Board Nomination Committee, a member of the Board Audit and Risk Management Committee, and a member of the Board Nuclear Safety Committee; (ii) Mr. Peng served as the chairman of the Board Audit and Risk Management Committee, a member of the Board Remuneration Committee, and a member of the Board Nomination Committee; and (iii) Mr. Yang Changli, retired as a member of the nomination committee of the company's board of directors and was replaced by director Ms. Li Li.
