Zhitong Finance App News, Shiyao Group (01093) announced that the phase Ib/II clinical trial (SYS 6090 -008) of the SYS 6090 injection combination treatment plan developed by the group to treat colorectal cancer has been officially launched at the first research center in China.

This product is registered as a therapeutic biological product class 1. It is a recombinant all-human anti-programmed cell death receptor 1 (PD-1) fusion protein that combines interleukin-15 (IL-15). It can target PD-1 positive tumors on the left arm to infiltrate immune cells, block immunosuppressive function caused by the interaction between PD -1 and programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1); at the same time, it binds to IL-15 receptors on its right arm to further promote the activation and proliferation of related immune cells. Preclinical study results showed that the product can significantly inhibit tumor growth, is safe and well tolerated, and shows higher pharmacodynamic activity compared to other PD-1 monoclonal antibodies and IL-15 drugs.

Previously, the Group had received the drug clinical trial approval notice for this product issued by the State Drug Administration of the People's Republic of China in March 2026, and commenced clinical trials of SYS 6090 -008 after approval. The approved clinical trial is an open, multicenter phase Ib/II clinical trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the combined treatment regimen with this product in colorectal cancer participants.

Based on the results of this study, the Group will continue to promote phase III confirmatory clinical trials of this product in colorectal cancer participants to further verify the clinical value of the combined treatment plan with this product. Currently, the recruitment and screening of participants for the SYS 6090 -008 study is being actively promoted.
