Zhongji Health (000972.SZ) subsidiary plans to invest in the construction of a direct-fill sauce post-packaging project

Zhitong Finance App News, Zhongji Health (000972.SZ) announced that Zhongji Red Tomato Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, plans to invest in the construction of a direct filling sauce post-packaging production line supporting equipment procurement project (“direct-fill sauce post-packaging project”). The total investment of the project is about 8.2 million yuan. After completion, the project will produce 5,000 tons of small cans of ketchup per year, with a total annual output of 12.5 million cans. Through market research, small cans of ketchup with 210g (portable, fresh) and 400g (affordable) packaging specifications accurately meet the core demands of market consumers for convenience and freshness of condiments; at the same time, the company's channel customers, distributors, and offline stores report that small cans of ketchup with 210g and 400g packaging specifications have relatively low logistics costs, which is conducive to sales through new media platforms such as e-commerce and live streaming.
