Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) shares are slightly down Monday. The company disclosed that is expanding its North American base oils distribution network.
Chevron Products Company, a division of Chevron, is enhancing its distribution capabilities through agreements with HF Sinclair Corporation‘s (NYSE:DINO) Lubricants & Specialties segment and Renkert Oil.
Effective May 1, 2027, HF Sinclair will be the exclusive distributor of Group II base oils in Canada and will have non-exclusive rights in select U.S. regions. Meanwhile, Renkert Oil continues to distribute various Chevron products across North America and Europe.
Alicia Logan, general manager, Chevron Base Oils said that the combination of HF Sinclair Lubricants & Specialties and Renkert Oil enhances Chevron’s distribution capabilities while ensuring customers continue to benefit from reliable products, service, and technical support.
Last week, the energy giant reported second-quarter 2026 results that topped Wall Street expectations, driven by record U.S. production, stronger refining margins and higher oil prices.
Adjusted EPS of $6.06 beat the $5.56 estimate. Total revenues and other income rose 56.3% to $70.06 billion, topping the $61.97 billion estimate.
