The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced today the July China Logistics Industry Sentiment Index. The index continued to expand. Among them, the new orders index continued to rise, and industrial logistics improved further. China's logistics industry sentiment index in July was 50.4%, down 0.2 percentage points from month to month, and overall expansion continued. Looking at the sub-indices, the July New Orders Index was 50.5%, up 0.2 percentage points from the previous month. It has been rising for 5 consecutive months since this year. Among them, the index of new orders in the railway transport industry, road transport industry, and multimodal transport sector rebounded 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4 percentage points, respectively, from month to month. Also, although the total business volume index declined month-on-month, it was in the expansion range for 3 consecutive months. Among them, the total business volume index in the multimodal transport sector was 54%, up 0.5 percentage points from month to month. Various regions continue to innovate multimodal transport solutions, and have achieved further breakthroughs in railway and sea intermodal transport, “one single system”, and data interconnection.
