The Zhitong Finance App learned that SF Express Tongcheng (09699) opened more than 4% higher after earnings. As of press release, it had risen 4.49% to HK$8.845, with a turnover of HK$444,000.

According to the news, on August 3, SF Express announced that the profit due to company owners for the six months ending June 30, 2026 will be no less than RMB 301 million, an increase of no less than 120% over the same period last year; the adjusted net profit forecast for the period will not be less than RMB 240 million, an increase of no less than 50% over the same period last year; and the Group's revenue forecast for the current period will not be less than RMB 11.669 billion, an increase of no less than 14% over the same period last year.

According to the announcement, the company's expected positive performance in the first half of the year is mainly due to the following reasons: adhering to the business goals of healthy and high-quality development, continuous increase in order volume and revenue scale; obtaining long-term customer trust through neutral and open third-party market positioning and high-quality and reliable full-scenario fulfillment services, deepening diversification and good cooperation with customers to drive business resilience growth; benefiting from further improvements in scale effects, optimized investment strategies, lean rider chassis operation and AI technology application to drive front-end customer acquisition, network operation to back-office collaboration to improve quality and efficiency throughout the entire chain to achieve improved gross margin and profit release; In addition to the healthy growth of the main business, the Group's investment-related income is also expected to increase during this period.
