BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Knife River Corp. (KNF) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $43.9 million.

The Bismarck, North Dakota-based company said it had net income of 77 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.11 per share.

The construction materials company posted revenue of $938.6 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $923.7 million.

Knife River expects full-year revenue in the range of $3.4 billion to $3.6 billion.
