Yemeni government forces said on the 4th that a cargo ship sank after being attacked by a ship carrying explosives in the Red Sea in western Yemen. The 14 crew members on board were all rescued by government forces. The “National Resistance Force” under the Yemeni government issued a statement on the same day saying that the coast guard and naval forces carried out joint rescue operations and successfully rescued all crew members aboard the attacked cargo ship “FAIZE NOORE OLIYA” about 13 nautical miles south of the port of Hodeida controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
