Social media platform X said on Tuesday that it is complying with a Turkish court order to block the presidential campaign office account of the imprisoned Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu within Turkey, but is objecting to the order in court. According to a copy of the ruling issued by X Platform, in order to maintain national security and public order, an Istanbul court ordered X Platform to restrict access to Imamoglu's account, which has approximately 225,700 followers. Platform X said it was required to implement the restrictions under Turkish law, but objected to the order and had initiated legal proceedings.
