The Zhitong Finance App learned that Asia Pacific Resources (01104) rose more than 9%. As of press release, it had risen 9.33% to HK$1.64, with a turnover of HK$2,034,000.

According to the news, recently, Asia Pacific Resources announced that compared to the profit attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$244 million for the year ended June 30, 2025 (FY 24/25), the Group expects to earn profits attributable to shareholders in the year ended June 30, 2026 (FY 25/26), in the estimated range of approximately HK$1.3 billion to HK$1.9 billion.

According to the announcement, the expected increase in profit attributable to shareholders in the 25/26 fiscal year was mainly due to several factors. First, compared to the loss of approximately HK$8 million in fiscal year 24/25, the commodity business segment contributed partial profit in fiscal year 25/26; second, the resource investment segment contributed an increase in segmental profit in fiscal year 25/26 compared to the partial profit of about HK$343 million in fiscal year 24/ 25; and third, net impairment losses on equity expected to be transferred back to associated companies and the Group's share of the results of the associated companies.
