Department of Commerce: Taking countermeasures against US compliance testing companies

The Zhitong Finance App learned that the Ministry of Commerce issued a decision to take countermeasures against US compliance testing companies. Recently, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has intensively introduced negative measures involving China, which seriously infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. US compliance testing companies assist and support the US Federal Communications Commission in taking measures that endanger China's sovereignty, security, and development interests. According to Sections 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, and 15 of the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, and the provisions of Sections 3, 5, 8, and 10 of the “Provisions Implementing the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China”, the Chinese side decided to include the US Compliance Testing LLC (Compliance Testing LLC) in the countermeasure list and take the following countermeasures: organizations and individuals within China are prohibited from engaging in transactions, cooperation, etc. with them. It will come into effect on 2026/8/5.
