The tension leg floating wind power platform is a large-scale floating equipment specially designed and built for the development of deep-sea wind power. It consists of an upper floating body, an undersea anchoring foundation, and a mooring system. The “HNOOC Anlan” was installed at the Lufeng Oilfield at a depth of 136 meters and 136 kilometers offshore. The overall height is nearly 110 stories high, equipped with a 16 megawatt typhoon resistant fan. It is independently designed and built according to extreme operating conditions that can withstand Class 17 typhoons. The service period is 25 years. After the “HNOOC Anlan” is put into operation, it is expected to provide 54 million kilowatts of green electricity to the oil field every year, which is equivalent to saving 15,000 cubic meters of fuel oil and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 35,000 tons.
