The completion and opening ceremony of the Cameroon Nyon River Bridge constructed by CCCC Group 1 was held on the 5th in Nyon-Kailai in central Cameroon. The Minister of Public Works, Minister of Transport, and Minister of Social Affairs of Kazakhstan attended the ceremony. Emmanuel Nganu Jumessi, Minister of Public Works of Kazakhstan, highly praised the level of professionalism shown by the Chinese side in construction organization, application of technology, and implementation management. He believes that the construction of the bridge will not only ensure that local residents can cross the Nyon River safely and easily, but will also play an important role in promoting agricultural development, driving the regional economy, and strengthening connectivity. “The bridge was completed nine months earlier than the contract period, which is an important result of close collaboration and joint efforts by all parties.” he said.
