It's been a pretty great week for Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. (BIT:BC) shareholders, with its shares surging 11% to €92.90 in the week since its latest half-year results. It was an okay result overall, with revenues coming in at €749m, roughly what the analysts had been expecting. Earnings are an important time for investors, as they can track a company's performance, look at what the analysts are forecasting for next year, and see if there's been a change in sentiment towards the company. We've gathered the most recent statutory forecasts to see whether the analysts have changed their earnings models, following these results.
Following the latest results, Brunello Cucinelli's 18 analysts are now forecasting revenues of €1.55b in 2026. This would be a reasonable 5.4% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are predicted to expand 12% to €2.27. Yet prior to the latest earnings, the analysts had been anticipated revenues of €1.54b and earnings per share (EPS) of €2.24 in 2026. So it's pretty clear that, although the analysts have updated their estimates, there's been no major change in expectations for the business following the latest results.

It will come as no surprise then, to learn that the consensus price target is largely unchanged at €101. Fixating on a single price target can be unwise though, since the consensus target is effectively the average of analyst price targets. As a result, some investors like to look at the range of estimates to see if there are any diverging opinions on the company's valuation. There are some variant perceptions on Brunello Cucinelli, with the most bullish analyst valuing it at €130 and the most bearish at €70.00 per share. Analysts definitely have varying views on the business, but the spread of estimates is not wide enough in our view to suggest that extreme outcomes could await Brunello Cucinelli shareholders.
Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. It's pretty clear that there is an expectation that Brunello Cucinelli's revenue growth will slow down substantially, with revenues to the end of 2026 expected to display 11% growth on an annualised basis. This is compared to a historical growth rate of 16% over the past five years. Juxtapose this against the other companies in the industry with analyst coverage, which are forecast to grow their revenues (in aggregate) 7.2% per year. Even after the forecast slowdown in growth, it seems obvious that Brunello Cucinelli is also expected to grow faster than the wider industry.
The most obvious conclusion is that there's been no major change in the business' prospects in recent times, with the analysts holding their earnings forecasts steady, in line with previous estimates. Fortunately, they also reconfirmed their revenue numbers, suggesting that it's tracking in line with expectations. Additionally, our data suggests that revenue is expected to grow faster than the wider industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.
Following on from that line of thought, we think that the long-term prospects of the business are much more relevant than next year's earnings. At Simply Wall St, we have a full range of analyst estimates for Brunello Cucinelli going out to 2028, and you can see them free on our platform here..
