South Korean President Lee Jae-myung met with Argentine President Millay in Buenos Aires. The two countries signed the first memorandum of understanding between governments on key minerals cooperation. According to the agreement, the two sides will exchange information on key mineral policies, regulations and investment systems, promote corporate investment, and cooperate on lithium resource exploration, mining, processing and other industrial chain links. The two sides also decided to reinstate the Joint Economic Commission and the Energy Resources Cooperation Committee, and completed an agreement to avoid double taxation to provide institutional support for South Korean companies to invest in Argentina.
