China Automobile Association: The total import and export volume of automobile products in June was US$31.82 billion, up 8% month-on-month, up 35.5% year-on-year

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 6, according to data from the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in June 2026, the total import and export volume of automobile products was US$31.82 billion, up 8.0% month-on-month and 35.5% year-on-year. Among them, the import amount was 3.39 billion US dollars, down 6.1% from the previous year, down 18.7% from the previous year; the export value was 28.43 billion US dollars, up 10.0% from the previous month, up 47.2% year on year.

From January to June 2026, the country's cumulative total import and export volume of automobile products was US$164.74 billion, an increase of 25.5% over the previous year. Among them, imports amounted to US$19.25 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11.8%; exports amounted to US$145.49 billion, an increase of 33.0% year-on-year.
