05:50 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Solvonis Therapeutics (SVNS.L) said Thursday its proprietary discovery-stage small molecule, SVN-015, will advance to further evaluation under the US National Institute on Drug Abuse's Addiction Treatment Discovery Program. The update follows the completion of the initial cardiac ion-channel screening, in which the compound demonstrated an encouragingly broad off-target profile. SVN-015 is being assessed as a potential treatment for stimulant use disorder, including cocaine and methamphetamine use disorders. The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company's drug will now progress to further studies aimed at characterizing its intended transporter pharmacology, off-target profile, and in vivo activity.
