The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to the Hong Kong Differential Assessment Department's latest “Monthly Supplement to the Hong Kong Property Report”, the number of private residences completed in Hong Kong in June was 3,532, an increase of 2,723 units or 3.37 times over the previous year; the total number completed in the first half of the year was 7914 units, a decrease of 2,149 units or 21.36% over the previous year, accounting for about 46.6% of the annual forecast of 16,975 units. By region, the number of completed units in the first half of the year mainly came from the New Territories, involving 5054 units, accounting for about 64% of the total number completed; Hong Kong Island accounted for 1808 units, accounting for about 23%; while the Kowloon district had only 1,061 units, accounting for about 13% of the total.
