On August 7, 2026, NIO's 4,000 power exchange stations and the first fifth-generation power exchange station were completed at the Qiaoxiang Stadium in Quanzhou, Fujian. On the same day, NIO's first batch of fifth-generation power exchange stations were put into operation in seven cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Hefei, Chengdu and Quanzhou. Firefly Firefly was officially connected to NIO's power exchange system.
