According to the Zhitong Finance App, Asia Backup (08290) announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue of HK$16.677 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11.76%; loss attributable to owners of the parent company was HK$94,000, a year-on-year narrowing of 48.07%; and a basic loss of HK0.00 cents per share.

According to the announcement, the reduction in losses was mainly due to a reduction in content acquisition costs due to content optimization strategies; and a decrease in employee costs due to a decrease in the average number of employees, but this was partially offset by the decline in revenue from the online backup business due to the overall weakness of the global economy and weak demand for our services.
