The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, the General Administration of Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a notice to publicly solicit new measurement projects to support the development of new industrial productivity in 2026. The purpose of this move is to thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the “Measurement Action Plan to Support the Development of New Industrial Productivity (2025-2030)”, continue to play the fundamental and strategic role of measurement in scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading around strategic emerging industries and the urgent needs of future industrial productivity development, accelerate the resolution of key measurement technology bottlenecks in industrial development, and promote high-quality industrial development. The call for this project focuses on the ten key areas of next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, aerospace, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment, biomedicine, quantum technology, integrated circuits, and instrumentation, focusing on the development, measurement technology research and industrial application of key common measurement equipment in the industrial chain, focusing on supporting major innovative projects that can solve the “stuck neck” problem, achieve domestic replacement, and fill gaps at home and abroad.

Recently, the General Administration of Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a notice to publicly solicit 2026 measurement support industrial productivity development projects. The purpose of this move is to thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the “Measurement Action Plan to Support the Development of New Industrial Productivity (2025-2030)”, continue to play the fundamental and strategic role of measurement in scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading around strategic emerging industries and the urgent needs of future industrial productivity development, accelerate the resolution of key measurement technology bottlenecks in industrial development, and promote high-quality industrial development.

The General Administration of Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will review the collected projects and select about 10 projects as key projects for 2026. For key projects, the two departments will strengthen guidance, coordination and support, and at the same time strengthen project process management, supervision and inspection to jointly ensure the smooth implementation of key projects.
In 2025, for the first time, the two departments organized and carried out the collection and review of projects to measure and support the development of new industrial productivity for the whole country. A total of 124 applications were received. After multiple rounds of expert review, the final selection determined 10 key projects for the year. The implementation of the project provides an important guarantee to promote the integrated development of the “traceability chain, innovation chain, and industrial chain” and achieve accurate connection between measurement supply and industrial demand.
