The Zhitong Finance App learned that in the Hong Kong stock market on August 11, Beishui traded net sales of HK$1,376 billion. Among them, Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shanghai) had a net purchase of HK$2,004 billion, and Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shenzhen) had a net sale of HK$3.381 billion.

The individual stocks that Beishui Net bought the most were CITIC Securities (06030), Xiaomi Group-W (01810), and MINIMAX-W (00100). The individual stocks sold the most by Beishui Net were Alibaba-W (09988), Jiantao Laminate (01888), and Lingbao Gold (03330).

CITIC Securities (06030) received a net purchase of HK$555 million. On the evening of August 6, CITIC Securities announced the completion of a fixed increase of 16 billion yuan for H shares. All net proceeds from this offering will be retained overseas to develop the company's international business. CITIC Securities plans to increase the capital of its subsidiary CITIC Securities International by no more than RMB 16 billion. The capital increase will be carried out once or in batches according to the company's capital situation and CITIC Securities International's business development.

Xiaomi Group-W (01810) received a net purchase of HK$402 million. On August 2, Xiaomi officially announced the third round of price increases during the year. Prices of various major models, such as the Xiaomi 17 series, all REDMI K90 series, and REDMI Turbo 5, were raised from 300 yuan to 500 yuan. Guosheng Securities believes that the gross margin trend in the mobile phone business is expected to stabilize as the increase in storage costs in Q3 and beyond narrows, product structure optimization, and the pace of price increases becomes smoother.

MINIMAX-W (00100) received a net purchase of HK$121 million. HKEx announced that MINIMAX has complied with the HKEx Technology 100 Index rapid inclusion rules. It will be included in the HKEx Technology 100 Index and the Hong Kong Exchange Technology and US Technology 100 Index after the market closes on August 12, and will officially take effect on August 13. As a newly listed technology company in the Hong Kong market, MiniMax was quickly included in the relevant index, reflecting that it already has corresponding market representation and further enriching the coverage of innovation and technology companies in the HKEx Technology Index.

CNOOC (00883) received a net purchase of HK$58.73 million. The prospects for negotiations between the US and Iran were once again overshadowed. On Monday, WTI crude oil futures traded at 82 US dollars/barrel, and oil was close to 88 US dollars/barrel. Trump said that since Iran proposed war compensation, US negotiators have been instructed to claim compensation from Iran. Iran, on the other hand, said it will not conduct negotiations with the US until Trump's term ends. Furthermore, the US strategic oil reserve (SPR) fell by 6.1 million barrels to 298.7 million barrels last week.

SMIC (00981) and Huahong Hongli (01347) received net purchases of HK$44.4 million and HK$18.92 million respectively. According to World Advanced, the capacity utilization rate will continue to rise to 90% in 2026, the increase in OEM prices will not decrease in 2027, 12-inch fabs will mass produce ahead of schedule, and the AI business will double its share of revenue, contributing even more next year. Samsung Electronics' foundry business is expected to reach 100% utilization within the year.

GigaYi Innovation (03986) was sold for a net sale of HK$88.43 million. Analysts at TrendForce Jibang Consulting said that the pattern of short supply of DRAM is expected to continue until 2027, and the price increase is expected to continue until the second half of 2027. BOC International also believes that the overall storage market trend of short supply may continue until 4Q27, and even if prices drop thereafter, the changes may be more moderate than before.

Jiantao laminate (01888) was sold in net sales of HK$233 million. UBS pointed out that even if the current round of the traditional copper-clad plate upward cycle ends, the company's profit is not expected to decline like the previous cycle, because the company's expansion of AI-related upstream materials and copper-clad plate business will bring new structural growth impetus, and its vertically integrated business model is also a major differentiating advantage. The bank pointed out that the company's stock price falling about 60% from the June high is an attractive opportunity.

In addition, Kingsley Biotech (01548) received a net purchase of HK$18.75 million, while Alibaba-W (09988), Lingbao Gold (03330), and Tencent (00700) were net sold at HK$360 million, $187 million, and HK$61.7 million respectively.
