PETALING JAYA: Cypark Resources Bhd has said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cypark Smart Technology Sdn Bhd, has been listed by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA) as a successful applicant for a 2026 Feed-in Approval under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) system.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, it said the approval involves an increase in capacity for the Solid Waste Modular Advanced Recovery and Treatment Waste-to-Energy (SMART WTE) Plant at Ladang Tanah Merah, Port Dickson.

The approved application covers an installed capacity of 44.73 megawatts (MW) and a net export capacity of 29.99MW under the biomass category, based on results published by SEDA on Aug 11, 2026.

Cypark said the successful FiT application marks a key milestone towards the implementation of Phase 2 of the WTE plant.
