International Finance Association: Emerging market equity outflows slowed to US$7.8 billion in July, down from US$46.1 billion in June. Emerging market debt attracted capital inflows of US$26.7 billion in July, compared to US$28.1 billion in June. In July, non-resident investors increased their portfolios to emerging markets with a net increase of US$18.8 billion, ending two consecutive months of capital outflows. As of July, debt inflows to emerging markets reached US$214.4 billion, compared with an estimated US$177.7 billion for the same period in 2025. As of July, the total annual capital outflow from emerging market stocks was 86 billion US dollars, compared to 9 billion US dollars in the same period last year.
