According to Donghua Technology, on August 5, China Chemical Engineering Donghua Company and China Chemical Engineering Western New Materials held a general contract signing ceremony and commencement meeting for the polyolefin elastomer industry demonstration project with an annual output of 50,000 tons. Using a high-temperature solution polymerization production process and metallocene catalyst independently developed by the General Research Institute and Donghua Company, the project can produce two major system products: ethylene-butene copolymerization POE and ethylene-octene copolymerization POE.
