The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Tuesday, the artificial meat concept stock Beyond Meat (BYND.US) opened and plummeted by nearly 20%, hitting a new low since listing, and is now reported at $0.41. According to the news, Beyond Meat announced today that the company's board of directors has decided to implement a reverse stock split of 1 to 30 of the company's common shares, and reduce the number of common shares authorized by the company to be issued by the same ratio, while reducing the total amount of the company's authorized share capital to be issued accordingly. The reverse stock split was designed to help the company once again meet the minimum purchase price standards required for continued listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.

At a special shareholders' meeting held on November 19, 2025, the company's shareholders approved 30 alternative revisions to the company's “Revised and Restated Company Registration Certificate” to implement reverse stock splitting according to any of the 30 reverse stock split ratios. The specific split ratio is determined by the board of directors.
