According to the CITIC Construction Investment Securities Research Report, according to data from the General Administration of Customs, rare earth exports declined markedly in July, and average prices rose. The volume of rare earth exports in July was 4223.5 tons, down 29.54% year on year and 17.26% month on month, the lowest level in a single month since March; total exports from January to July were 34,706.3 tons, down 10% year on year. However, the corresponding average export price was 12.34 US dollars/kg, a sharp increase of 103.14% over the previous year. The export structure was skewed towards high-value medium and heavy rare earth products, overseas markets accepted high-priced raw materials, and the tight global rare earth supply pattern continued. There is no increase on the rare earth supply side, production is stable in separation enterprises, companies that stopped production in the early stages have no plans to start construction, downstream support is adequate, and long-term demand is expected to improve. Rare earth prices are expected to be stable, moderate, and strong in the near future.
