Germany's E.ON Posts Surge in H1 Attributable Income; Sales Down

01:25 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- E.ON (EOAN.F) said Wednesday that its attributable income for the first half jumped, while sales declined year over year. Net income attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 2.61 billion euros, compared with 969 million euros earlier. EPS moved to 1 euro from 0.37 euro. The German electric utility company's sales were 38.08 billion euros, compared with 41.55 billion euros a year ago. Looking ahead, E.ON maintained its guidance for adjusted net income in the range of 2.7 billion euros to 2.9 billion euros and adjusted net income per share in the range of 1.03 euros to 1.11 euros for full-year 2026. The company also aims to continue raising its dividend by up to 5% annually through 2030.
