According to the latest released data, in July of this year, 1.04 million vehicles were exported, up 0.6% month-on-month and 81.3% year-on-year. Among them, 553,000 new energy vehicles were exported, up 5.7% month-on-month and 145.5% year-on-year. The reporter noticed that after exporting more than 900,000 vehicles for two consecutive months in April and May of this year, exports reached a new level in June and July, with exports exceeding 1 million vehicles for two consecutive months. Moreover, the share of NEV exports has surpassed 50% for two consecutive months. A relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that the main reason why China's automobile exports have maintained rapid growth is that China has the most complete automobile industry chain in the world. From lithium ore processing, battery manufacturing, motor electronic control to vehicle assembly, not only is production capacity sufficient and cost controllable, but the supply chain is also resilient to risks. Furthermore, the intelligence of China's automobile industry has formed a core competitiveness. Functions such as intelligent driving and cockpit interaction can be quickly iterated and accurately adapted to the needs of overseas users. Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that from a comprehensive perspective, China's automobile market is currently showing the characteristics of “domestic demand under pressure and strong foreign trade,” and exports are becoming a key force and core growth engine to stabilize the industry.
